The Receptionist/Administrative team provide an important link between the patients and the practice. They are your initial point of contact for general enquiries, providing basic information on services and results and can direct you to the correct health professional depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists, make the majority of the patient appointments with the GP's and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enqueries, financial claims and patient records. They also carry out surveys and practice audits to help continually improve the quality of the service.
