We are here to help!
*We like your feedback!* We have listened to the demands of our patients and the continual feedback. We are now offering Hub Appointments to patients when the routine and telephone appointments at the surgery are fully booked. This scheme allows patients to book appointments at other GP surgeries in the local area (including Tedding Memorial Hospital). This offers the practice greater flexibility and our patients more options.
We are continuing to engage with our patients at the Patient Participation Group meetings. The meetings are attended by both volunteer patients and Hampton Medical Centre staff to discuss varies issues and changes in the practice. It is a great way for the practice to receive feedback. New volunteers are always warmly welcomed. If you are interested, please sign up at the front desk.
Due to on-going pressures on the NHS and lack of appropriate funding, as of 1st March 2018 Hampton Medical Centre will no longer provide ear syringing or irrigation for the purpose of removing ear wax. The GP will make an assessment of a patient with earache or reduced hearing, including the examination, and the referral to appropriate clinic will be arranged if wax removal _____________________________________________________________________

THINK! WHY A&E?
A&E departments treat patients with major, life-threatening illnesses and injuries, so you should only call 999 or visit A&E when your situation is critical. Using a more appropriate service will save you time-and could save lives.
Sharing information in the NHS helps ensure that the quality and safety of services is consistent across the country. It can also highlight different diseases and conditions that may require more NHS investment. This is an opportunity for each of us to help the NHS provide high quality care for all. GP Practices will soon be required to supply patients data to Information Centre. Information such as your postcode and NHS number, but not your name, will be used to link your records in a secure system, so your identity is protected. Information which does not reveal your identity can then be used by others to make sure the NHS provides the best care possible for everyone.
